Constant waking at night

My 8 month old wakes constantly through the night and I'm struggling to know what to do about it

At the moment he is in a solid routine. He wakes and then plays, eats and naps. He usually has 2 naps (3 max) of anywhere between 30 min and 2 hours.

He is weaning but struggling with lumps. I am trying to keep him fed as well as possible but this hasn't seemed to help!

Our last nap brings us to about 3/4pm. We then have a bath at 6pm on the dot. Pjs, bottle and bed at 7pm. 90% of the the time he goes down well after about 15 min.

I do however have to either rock him to sleep or he drinks his bottle and falls asleep.

He then proceeds to stir anywhere between 4 times a night to every 30 min. He goes off again with a few sucks of his bottle or sometimes needs rocking back off.

I am a lone parent and knackered. I often run in a settle him and don t let him turn moaning into crying. As don t have the energy! I did try and follow advice to let him cry it out but after 20 min he was so worked up he projectile vomited.

Any help appreciated.

If he's falling asleep with a bottle could it be wind?

Have you tried giving him a dummy to help him self soothe during the night? White noise?

White noise didn't work after about the age of three months sadly. Yes does fall asleep drinking so maybe I should wind him if he wakes. Dummy wasn't a bit either sadly he refuses it now

Could well be 8-10 mo sleep regression- so much going on developmentally at that age and their brains can't switch off sometimes.

Also, he might need to drop a nap- DS only had 2 by that age

Last night he slept from 12pm till 6am solid. Nothing different in the day. This stuff baffles me!
