Crying at bedtime

My DD, 15 months has started screaming when I leave the room the past 3 days. I've tried leaving her to cry it out but this results in her getting herself in a state. Meaning I'm now with her until she goes to sleep. She is usually so good at bedtime, goes down herself and will sleep all night.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be? Nothing at all has changed in our routine!

Molars cut around his age, which could be making her require a bit of extra TLC.

Maybe she's feeling poorly? Maybe it's a touch of temporary separation anxiety?

Whatever the cause, I'd just give a little extra TLC at bedtime while it's needed.
