I need help! My daughter is 16 months old and she has started not sleeping! Her routine is bath at 6.30 pm 8oz of whole milk with a small amount of honey and put to sleep. She goes off to sleep but will only stay asleep until 11 maybe 12 then she cry's all night. I go in her room and lie her back down give her a dummy and her comfort blanket. However she only stays asleep for another half and hour. In the end I give up around 4 am and put her bed with me as it's the only way we can both sleep!! If anyone has any ideas it would be a great help!

Does she have her molars? There’s also a very common sleep regression around this time due to separation anxiety

No they have come through. She has been in her own room since 6 months. She was fine but the last two months she has been not sleeping!

Try to separate having milk and going to bed. So give milk downstairs, then upstairs and brush teeth (especially important with the added sugar in the honey) and have bath. Then settle her to sleep in the cot.

When she wakes, resettle her in the cot. Every time - being consistent is very important.
