Hi all.

Quick question. What mattress do you have in your cot bed? The one I have for ds is as hard as bullets. Must be like sleeping on a brick!! I appreciate they need to be safe etc, but surely a bit of comfort is allowed.Grin

Any recommendations?
TIA.

One has Mothercare the other John Lewis - neither the heapest or top of range.

Neither are hard- I have slept in the bed and the one used as a cot seems bouncy enough.

I put a mattress topper on mine as he'd got used to being in my bed which has one. It's one like they have in hotels-like a duvet almost, and they do them in cot bed size. I got him this once he was over 2 though.

www.amazon.co.uk/Clevamama-Clevafoam-Support-Mattress-Hypoallergenic/dp/B002FAE3CY/ref=sr_1_6_sspa?psc=1&keywords=cleva+mama&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1528406280&sr=8-6-spons

This was the one I decided to get in the end, I was paranoid about flathead. It's also nice and comfy and my baby co slept with me on the bed and seemed to find my bed comfy which is also memory foam.
