Hi!
I'm a little bit stressed so any advice would be appreciated!
I am I first time mum and loving it :)
My little one is now 4 months old and I think he's sleeping well..
He's exclusively breastfed and will sleep from around 10.30 til 7.30 every night straight through which is amazing..
However recently my partner has been complaining that he wants ds to go to bed earlier because he needs his rest at night without ds around..?

Accidently post too soon.
Just wanted to add that my partner has never out ds to sleep and doesn't wake up with him either.
Am I right to be a bit frustrated with him?
Thank you

The Safe Sleep guidelines to prevent SIDS recommend baby sleeps in the same room you are in until 6 months old. That includes all daytime naps and through the evening.

For this reason, those who follow the guidelines wait until at least 6 months old before setting baby up with an earlier bedtime.

That said, there are things you can do:

If baby is fleeting through, I would be shifting daytime naps do that baby is falling asleep at around 7-8pm. But consider that sleep a "nap" and have it in the place baby sleeps downstairs. That "nap" should extend and become part of the nights sleep. Then when baby wakes, keep interaction to a miminum. Just feed and take baby upstairs at that point, and you go to bed at the same time.

Thank you
Well I sleep with him in the spare bedroom every night so he's never alone thought his big sleep..
Rarely he falls asleep early so we keep track on a video monitor :)
Ah that's a good idea! Thank you!

Your little one is sleeping amazingly! I'd not change a thing until Your'e through the 4 month sleep regression.
