Is Purpleboa still around?

Is Purpleboa still around? We were in 2015 babies and I can remember she was having a horrendous time sleeping with her dd, my ds was pretty bad at the time too and we were on a few sleep threads.

I was probably under a different username back then.

If you're still about I do wonder whenever I venture into the sleep topic, if you ever managed to get some sleep?!

My ds still climbs into our bed most nights, but is a million times better than our hourly wakings that once were.

Ha ha I am! Changed my username, after coming off here for a while as I felt I was just getting angry and making it a bit of a toxic environment for others, whilst doing nothing to improve my own mental health.

Well, DD is now almost 3 and generally sleeps through in her own room. We get the odd 'bad' night but are light years away from the horror of how it used to be. She started sleeping through at 2.5 but up until then she was still waking several times a night. Think what made the difference was us biting the bullet and moving her to a smaller bedroom. We'd had her in a bigger room so we could take it in turns to sleep next to her but actually that was just disrupting her. Once we removed the 'safety net' of the spare bed, it really helped!

Sadly, that coincided with me having DS who is...you guessed it, another non sleeper Grin He's now 7 months and really giving big sis a run for her money in the sleep thief stakes! I think the last run of good sleep had was in 2014 before pregnancy insomnia hit...

How nice to be remembered though, that's cheered me up! What was your username back in the day? So glad things have improved for you!
