9 months, all downhill from 3am

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for my sleep woes...

My almost 9 month old has always been a challenging sleeper, she was fed to sleep until a month ago (was waking every hour to be fed back to sleep) when we did CC which worked amazingly quickly and she never really cried, just whinged for a bit.

She now goes to sleep beautifully at the start of the night after a bath, feed and story but has started waking at 2/3am and it takes an hour of moaning and whinging before she drops off again. And then she’ll wake again an hour later and repeat until I give up at 6ish and get her up.

I’ve tried continuing with the CC techniques, tried feeding her and tried resettling with no feed but nothing seems to keep her asleep.

I have a toddler who sleeps in the adjoining room so I don’t want her screaming the house down in the early hours in case she wakes him.

Any advice please?

Overtiredness can cause this, also discomfort.

Over tiredness could well be a factor, she’s struggling to nap more than 30 mins, sometimes 45 mins. Occasionally I can take her back out in the pushchair and extend this, but with the toddler as well it isn’t usually possible.

I’m hoping it’s all another phase...

How can I stop overtiredness when naps are terrible, leading to a bad night, leading to terrible naps and so on?
