To start sleep training my 14 month old before or after our holiday

Hi would anyone recommend me and DH start sleep training our 14 month DD before or after our holiday? Ideally we would start this week because we both have the week off work so it would work quite well as it won't matter as much if we are extra tired in the day but we go on holiday on Friday and I think this might ruin any progress we've made.

Do you think if we successfully sleep train this week she would potentially have a good week while we are away or would it be like going back to square one?

She currently struggles with falling getting to sleep at bedtime although some nights she does go straight to sleep - the main issue is waking up through the night on and off all night and then waking up for the day at 4.30-5am even though she's exhausted still.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I wouldn't sleep train before you go - you'll all be out of routine on holiday. Do it when you come back.

Defiantly wait till youre back. Being on holiday is prime time for sleep distribution as she will be in an unfamiliar environment and not in a normal routine.
