Baby sleeping worse in own room

Hi

My DS is 5 months, he'll be 6 months in 3 weeks time. I moved him into his own at the beginning of the week and since I have done this he seems to have gotten worse with his sleeping habits. He is still waking for feeds at 1/2am then 3/5am. At the 3/5am he just will not go back to sleep and I end up resorting to bringing him into my bed. He's woken 3 times in the night since he was a newborn and it's starting to take its toll as I'm absolutely shattered. I was hoping him going into his own room would improve things.

Did anyone else find that that child didn't respond well when they were transferred to their own room as everywhere I read online they all of sudden seemed to sleep better. To top it off he also has eczema which I don't think helps with his sleep. I would really appreciate to hear from other mums who have been in the same situation and how they coped and if it got better 😁🙏

Thanks

Natalie
