6mo will not nap!!

At my wits end 😩
Up until recently DS has always been fairly good with napping. Normally a good hour-90mins in the morning, maybe a catnap early afternoon then another hour or so in the later afternoon.
Now he’s turned 6 months and everything’s gone to sh*t. He still sleeps fairly the same at night (approx 7pm-7am with 1/2 ebf night feeds) but he will totally fight daytime naps at all costs. I’m very lucky if I manage to get 2x 30min naps in a day. So naturally by bedtime he’s VERY overtired and bloody miserable. He just WILL NOT SLEEP in the day!!! Car/cot/pram/co-sleeping.. nothing makes a reasonable difference.
He’d previously boob-to-sleep sometimes, which is fine by me, and he has a dummy. But he’s now starting to refuse the dummy (unless he’s really tired) and feeding doesn’t have the same sleep inducing effect anymore! We do still use white noise though and I think this helps keep him asleep once he is down.
He’s also learnt to roll over onto his front. So as soon as I lay him down in his cot his eyes ping open and he flips over onto all fours, then cries because he can’t roll back. Then comes constant tossing and turning, to the point where I have to literally hold him down (gently!) so he’ll stay still enough to fall asleep. We used to have a sleepyhead but he’s outgrown this now. We do have the next size up ready for his big cot (still in the next2me in our room at the moment).
It’s a 30minute fight every time I put him down and I feel like I’m failing him, am I doing something wrong?! This has been constant the last 2/3 weeks and it’s not showing any signs of improving yet. 😞
Sorry for the essay. Just so tired and frustrated!!
