Hello sometimes after a bottle when I have put my 6week old in a
His Moses basket he grunts / moans and sounds really uncomfortable sometime it wakes him up like every 10mins and then is grab him out burp again and so on I have noticed a couple times he’s burped and gone back down with no problems, so figured it might be wind, but then if I get him out and put him on my chest his fine makes no sounds sleeping or anything so if it’s wind surely he would still be uncomfortable regardless of being on my chest or in his Moses basket? I’m a first time mum I was just wondering if anyone has gone through this and can help I’m not getting much sleep xxx

I remember my daughter having a grunty phase around that age. Someone told me after it’s to do with their digestive system developing.

She stopped doing it after a while but I’m afraid I can’t remember how long

My DD is 17 weeks old and still grunting- though it’s rare for it to go on this long.

I know what you mean- sometimes I think, it’s got to be psychological, otherwise why would it magically go away sometimes when I pick her up?! But other times there are real farts or she keeps on grunting and wriggling, so I’m as confused as ever, and just keeping my fingers crossed that it will pass... one day... --please God...
