How to stop feeding to sleep for naps

My 15 month old still feeds to sleep (bottle feeds, cow’s milk) for her nap (she only has one now; we just transitioned) as well as at bedtime. She’s always been a terrible sleeper. She starts nursery in a few months & I am keen to get her napping without a bottle as I know they won’t be feeding her to sleep there. What can I do? We tried gradual retreat at 9 months & it was a disaster. And as she sleeps so badly, I am scared to mess with her routines. I’d love some advice!

Don't over worry - they know all the tricks of the trade - and will find it helps you in the long run having someone else get her to sleep in a different way, my wee one is still bf to sleep but others can get her down my rock:shush or pat to sleep no bother

That’s very reassuring. Thank you. I worry they won’t have time to help a tricky baby to sleep but maybe they will.
