9 month old waking up for hours

My little one has been ill for about 2 weeks now and this last week has been waking up at about 9pm (two hours after bedtime) and wanting to play. We cosleep so she will literally crawl down one end of the bed, back up, roll around, etc. I put it down to having to give her medication during the night for these last two weeks, her not feeling well and teething.

I, at first, tried 3 hours trying to get her back to sleep for a couple of days and then gave up and let her sit with a teething toy and a book and tried to ignore her. I know it isn't actively helping but I've tried rocking, singing, ignoring (which I can't really do when she's on the bed), trying to feed back to sleep. I find she won't wake up until 10am due to this sleep issue.

Today I was hopeful we wouldn't have an issue, she went to bed at midnight last night, I had to resettle her once and she was awake at 6.30am. She napped at 8.45am until 11.30am (2hrs 45mins), then she napped again at 2.15pm until 4.05pm (1hr 50mins).

My line of thinking is she's still recovering from illness but when better the only way to combat this would be waking her up in the mornings at 7am and make sure she continues to nap well but just wanted some advice from someone who may have faced sleep issues like this. Am I forcing something she will regulate herself?
