My 17month old DS used to wake up around 6:30am.
But the last few weeks he has been up at around 5am every day. It's exhausting (I also have a newborn, so maybe this is part of the problem)
He has two long naps 9am-11am and 3pm-5pm. He goes to bed very well at 7:30 (he's a good boy at bed time. And falls asleep very quickly on his own. )
I am aware he naps a lot, but I think it could possibly be the naps that need reducing to help him sleep longer at night. But how? Do I try to keep him awake in the mornings until say 11am and get him to have one long middle of the day nap?
