Help me get through the day

On a good night my 7.5 month old will only wake 6 times a night. Usually it's 7-8. For the past few nights she's woken 15-20 times a night due (I hope) to a cold. I'm beside myself with exhaustion and have a six hour journey ahead of me involving trains tubes and buses. Just me her and our luggage. I have a cold too and am so sleep deprived I'm genuinely worried I'll just collapse en route.

Any reassuring words to help me through?

Poor things sleep deprivation is the worst. Can only offer virtual Brew and Flowers. Sad

Oh that sounds awful. You poor thing. I think adrenalin will get you through, just have the route planned out so you won't make any mistakes, lots of caffeine and sugar or whatever gets you through, demand a seat wherever you are, and make sure whoever you are going to knows how tired you are and that you'll be in dire need of rest when you arrive!

Much sympathy. We have a big road trip and week away coming up and honestly I'm so tired I'm dreading it and everything that will be involved. Good luck and Flowers

Thanks whoateallthepercypigs. On the home stretch now and I'm still alive! Managed to get little one to sleep on the first train and then was nodding off myself while I was holding her. But people were so kind helping with the buggy and luggage etc.

Good luck with your road trip and holiday! Apparently these kind of things do get easier!
