Quick but urgent question - sleeping on front?

My eight month old baby has suddenly decided to sleep on her front, she's rolling loads during the day. This is ok isn't it? She's asleep face down on her hands. She suddenly since last night won't sleep any other way. I just worry when she's absolutely face down!

Yep so long as she is doing the rolling herself it's fine

I used to flip them back over for the first month but honestly that is normal for them to turn in sleep. Its ok.

Yes. I gave up rolling mine back as she just goes straight back over again!

Absolutely fine.

It was around 8 months when my DD did this and as a result started sleeping through the night too Grin

Great! Thanks for the reassurance- let's hope it helps her sleep through too!!

I worried about this too, so I bought a breathing detection mat which is placed under the mattress.
