Any help appreciated - my little boy is 24 weeks old and for the last week or so he’s been waking through the night wailing and been so hard so settle. The dummy gets spat out and he’s frantically gnawing on his hands so I’m pretty sure he’s in quite a bit of teething pain :( I know it can take ages for teeth to appear so I’m reluctant to start using calpol or Nurefen before bed and when he wakes up through the night every day so can anyone share ANYTHING that they have done that has helped their baby get good quality sleep when they’re teething?

Are you feeding him in the night? He could be hungry rather than teething. Gnawing at hands is also a sign of hunger.

@crazycatlady5 yeah so last night he had a dream feed at 11 of 8oz then woke for a breastfeed at 3:15, back sleeping for 3:30 and was wailing, rubbing his ears and turning his head side to side at 5am 😫 managed to get some dentinox on his gums and brought him in beside me and he eventually fell asleep again till 6:45 when he had another breast feed

Sorry pressed post too soon, so I’m just wondering if there’s something I could be doing at his 3/4am breastfeed to help him get through to morning without waking in pain?
