New to dream feeding...too early to start and is it worth it?

My baby is 6 weeks and he sleeps 8pm-12am (ish) has a 4oz formula feed then is generally up every 2 hours at 2ish and 4ish. At the 4am feed he just cluster feeds and won’t go back in his cot at all. Wind is also a big culprit!! And he won’t settle.

He is mainly breast fed apart from that 1 formula feed at midnight. We started this in the hope that he would maybe cut out the 2am feed.
Is it worth sticking with? We tried a dream feed at 11pm last night but he still woke at 2. I know he’s only little and likely to keep changing but after advice or whether it looks like I need to change something.
I’ve been told to ‘keep him up until 10/11 before putting him down’ but he’s been falling asleep himself at 8pm so we’ve been going with him. I also think it’s a good habit to put in place now so he gets used to going to bed at this time.
Any ideas? Thanks
