Night waking 12-15 months

Dd is 15 months old and since she turned about 11.5 months, she has started waking at night almost without fail. She previously slept through the night from about 8 weeks and always settled herself, went down awake, etc.

I have tried everything from giving her a more filling evening snack, calpol, leaving her cry, giving water, changing nappy, etc. I don't turn on any lights or talk to her, I just pick her up and sit and cuddle her until she's sleepy again. This sometimes takes 2-3 hours and I'm working and on my own most of the time as DH works shifts. I am getting desperate. Any advice please?

No advice but we are in the same position! We are keeping lights low, not taking downstairs etc and not talking just cuddling etc. Am hoping time will be the key and he will soon start to sleep through. It is a killer though and lack of sleep makes everything so much harder.

I was hoping time was the key... for the first 2.5 months. Now I'm just despairing. Everything I read talks about sleep regressions lasting max 6 weeks but it has been so much longer already! Bah. Sorry you're in the same sleepless boat x
