Floor bed advice please

We’re ditching the cot and going for a floor bed for our 10 mo. She moves around a lot in her sleep and I’m worried she’ll clonk her head on the wall. Is a pool noodle under the sheet the best way to prevent this? Does anyone have anything on the wall itself?

We did this with our number 3. We used a single mattress on the floor and would occasionally find her on the floor.....she didn’t seem to mind! We didn’t use any kind of barriers as she was just too big and too mobile to be caught by any of it.

Having said all that, we did have some teddies around the wall.

We use foam wedge bed guards that go under the sheet. We had two so put one on each side of the double mattress. DS sometimes bumps his head if he gets up to the top but it rarely wakes him. Although it does wake DD next door!

Why can’t you keep her in her cot?

Pool noodles or foam wedge guards but that said DS clonks his head against the wall several times a night in his sleep (he's 16 months) and he's absolutely fine (and I'm a complete worrier!)

@llangennith because she won’t go to sleep in it.
