13 week sleep routine

My routine is generally change nappy, feed and go to bed with bath time thrown in 2 x a week.

Baby seems to know that when he is placed in cot he goes to sleep.
BUT is 11-11.30 far too late? Will it create problems at later date?

Baby is b fed and does a lot of feeding up until this time and I just thought easier to let him nap downstairs with me than be up and down. He has his last feed about 11 and then I put him in cot and he goes to sleep. He is also able to self settle if his feed is not just before bed time.

He normally has a 5 hour chunk between 11-4 or 11.30 -4.30 then feed, sleep till 7.30 and then feed and snooze and get up between and 9.

Everything I read says I need to establish a sleep schedule and he should be going to sleep at 6.30! Otherwise, apparently my baby will have extreme difficulty sleeping properly when older etc.

Just thinking I'd be up and down like a yoyo to feed and then baby wouldn't really sleep for his 5 hours which coincides nicely with my sleep time. Plus, I would have to change his nappy several times which would wake him up etc.

What is everyone else's view/experience of this?

It's fine, normal at that age for them to go to bed when you do. Bedtime moves earlier as the cluster feeding evenings end and you drop naps.

DD is 23 weeks so a bit older and is FF, she goes to bed in her cot between 11-11:30, she falls asleep around 7 for 30mins then again at 9ish for another 30 minutes and then nothing I do will help her go back to sleep and then she's due a feed around 10:30.

I know I've got no advice I'm just hoping this will settle in the future as I'm back in work doing 12 1/2 hour shifts in 3 months Confused
