I haven't read the whole thread about babies not sleeping but wanted to start one specifically for toddlers aged 2 - 3 years (Yes, some still don't sleep through even by this age!).
My DAD is 2 years 4 months and still wakes 1-2 times a night. She's in a 'big girl bed' now so happily wanders out of her room to find us rather than calling for us. A gate on her room could be an option but it seems reasonably safe as we don't have stairs.
She goes to sleep at around 8 or 8.30pm after loads of stories. We start the putting to bed process at 7.30 or 8pm. Any earlier seems futile as she isn't really tired.
She wakes between 6.30am and 7.15am usually then goes to nursery most days.
She eats plenty in the day and has milk before bed but not when she wakes in the night.
Any advice to help her sleep through would be gratefully received!
