Would I get much use from a crib for 21 week old?

DS is a smallish 21 week old (14.10lb) He stopped sleeping well in his cot bed, so have him back in his pram in our room. Its such a ball ache to carry it up stairs every night, would I get any use from a crib? I can get a cheapo one on Ebay, so the cost isn't really a factor. Is he going to be in it long enough to bother though?

Mmm DD2 is 19wks and 12lb but quite long and can still see her getting at least another couple of months from the crib. If it is cheap and you can probably resell it then go for it. Although what doesnt helike about the cotbed?

I wouldn't bother - even if he is small a crib is dangerous once he can sit up which could be soon.

is it the cotbed or the not-being-with-you he doesn't like?
ie does he sleep ok in the carrycot in the cotbed?

If it's the not-being-with-you, does the cotbed fit in your room? If not, maybe get a cheapy £25 Ikea cot (they're smaller than motehrcare etc) that will?

I was thinking also of getting the cheap Ikea cot, but there was a recall and they won't be getting any for 4 weeks (rang them earlier) I was going to try the carrycot in the cot bed next!!
