12 month old refusing naps

My 12 month old (almost 13 months) has suddenly started refusing naps. She goes down as normal but wakes up maybe 10-20 minutes after going down. I'm not doing anything differently. The only thing I can think of is it might be a reaction to the 12 month vaccine she had a week and a half ago? Or maybe separation anxiety? Has anyone else experienced this with their little ones? If so how did you overcome it? Thanks

We are going through this at the moment with the second nap. I think he is trying to drop it but my god does it make the afternoon a very.long.whiny. one Grin

Mine did the same. Lasted two weeks and then went back to normal. I would wait until 13-14 months before considering dropping to one nap to see if it evens out. My son didnt drop to one nap until around the 15 1/2 month mark.

Thanks! Going to try and keep both naps going for a while. She did sleep for 1.30 hours this morning so it might be getting better. Although only 20 mins for afternoon nap. Will keep persevering.

I have no idea what’s going on really. I think he is dropping a nap as he will not go down before 11 which makes it a bit late to have another in the afternoon. Even his 11 o’clock has only been 45 minutes for the last few days though... so tiring!
