My 11 month old baby goes to bed between 7-7:30pm, he then wakes up crying between 5-6am and is so tired that I have to put him down for a nap between 9-10am, is this normal?

He usually also has 1 or 2 other naps during the day, about an hour each but can last up to 2!

I can't get him to sleep later in the morning and miss his morning nap, both me and my partner end up tired the whole day!

My ds is 11 months old too and goes down at 7pm and normally wakes any time from 5.30am-7am. He still has 2 naps a day, first one is 2 hrs after he first wakes up and is normally @ 1 hour. His 2nd nap is after lunch, normally @ 12.30/1pm and this is usually for @ 1.5 hours.

He used to also have a 4.30pm ish nap but cut that out a couple of months ago.

From the acres I've read on the subject, some lo's need two naps a day well into their 2nd year! As long as he isn't getting more than 3 hours 'daytime' sleep I wouldn't worry, I've noticed over the last 11 months that the tend to work things out themselves
