I ask because last night we had a babysitter, bedtime included. Tonight my 4.5 mo cried for about 2 minutes after i put him in his cot and walked out of his room (had to use loo!) and then quietly played with his fingers until he fell asleep. It usually takes me about 15 minutes to get him to fall asleep he screams, I rock, he screams, I bounce, he screams, I jiggle he falls asleep and I put in crib. Tonight is was almost effortless. Is it possible that if the babysitter did do CC it would have worked so quickly?
