The title says it all really :-( my little girl is 11 months old and will go down fabulously during the day and when she is put down of an evening. But after about an hour of being asleep she is awake and screaming and will not settle for me at all. Her problem is that she wants feeding but I’m trying everything to wean her off me. She refuses to take a bottle to the point that we have to syringe her water and milk just to actually get her to drink and give me a break:-( it’s getting me so down that she’s nearly a year old and wakes up easily 6/7 times a night wanting a feed!! She wasn’t like this when she was smaller just been the last 2/3 months. I’ve loved feeding her but I’m so ready to stop now but feel like she won’t let me lol. I guess I need help with two things then haha, any tips on getting her to take a bottle and any tips on how to get her to settle through the night pleaaaase :-( xxxx

Sorry you’re not having much success weaning but it’s quite a young age to do so especially if she is refusing a bottle. Can you give it another few months?

Months 8-10/11 were rough for us due to regression and learning so many things. After that it settled dramatically and my 14 month old wakes once in the night at the moment.

Is she not taking any drinks at all as part of weaning (solid food weaning I mean)?

Have you tried squash or fruit juice in a lidded beaker? Breast milk is so yummy it's not unusual to need to offer something more yummy than just water to encourage them to learn.
