What are your night wakings like?

Assume you've tried all the obvious things, dark room, heating not coming on at that time and making clicking noises etc?

They are varied but generally ok.

Last night he was up for a bottle and unsettled for 30 Mins after and the odd babble here or there so if he had woken at 6 I’d say a good night. Yeah tried the usual and tried moving his Morning nap late, tried earlier bedtime but not later than 730 wondering if this is what I should try next.

He can self settle in the day and other times at night but he’s just up at 5-530 most day :(

How much total nap time in the day? I'd try moving bedtime later, but persevere for a week or two, it takes time to have an effect.
The other thing some people do is wake the baby just before their normal wake up time and then resettle them, and sometimes they'll then sleep longer. I never had the resolve for that though.

Just under 3.5 hours nap time in day? Is that enough?

I shifted bedtime from 630 to 7 last 3 weeks and it’s made no difference but can try 730

My 5 month old wakes at 5 too in her cot. I give her a bottle in bed and then co-sleep with her and often get another 3 hours sleep for us both. She wouldn’t be put back down in her cot though

I tried to co sleep but he gets excited and kicks his legs and then cries and whimpers
I’ve patted him tried dummy and nothing sends him back to sleep

She will sometimes do that for 30 mins before relaxing and falling back to sleep. As my partner says- she spends half an hour kicking him in the balls and pulling his beard! But in our case persevering gets us a decent amount of sleep once she nods off
