Awake babbling

My 5 month old keeps waking at various times at night for up to 2 hours babbling and cooing away. nothing sends him back to sleep. He’s just awake. Anyone else??
Why is this happening?!

Textbook 4 month sleep regression - google it and it will all become clear. I think most owners of a 4-5 month old would say the same thing

Oh the whole waking and chatting to themselves?! I thought they just woke often! Thanks for that I’ll just ride it out I supposed
