11 week old sleeping all day

DS will be 11 weeks tomorrow and he's still asleep most of the time. Anyone else's baby the same? In the day he'll be awake for about 90 minutes then sleep for 3-4 hours, so through the course of the day has very little awake time. Overnight he'll wake up once at about 3am then get up at about 7am, have his 90 minutes awake and back to sleep for hours.

He's between 50th and 75th centile and following his line perfectly. When he is awake he's bright and alert; smiles, coos and madly kicks his legs when I talk to him. The rest of the time he just sucks his thumb and looks around, barely making a peep. I forget I've got him sometimes 🙈 Do you think this is normal? DD could not have been more different, I don't think I put her down for 4 months.

My ds 11 weeks on Friday and is similar, not quite so good at night. He is very content, generally (having said that he is awake/gurgling now). He likes his sleep, especially in the day. My ds wakes usually again at 5-5.30 but goes back off with a cuddle. Sounds like you've got a happy and content baby who likes to sleep. Make the most of it I say. Long may it continue for you.

Ps if my ds is awake for more than 1.5 hours he gets really cranky, so I try and make sure he doesn't get to this point.
