Hi, so im new on mumsnet, just looking for some advice, i have a 6 1/2 month old who is a terrible sleeper at night, he has to fall asleep on me or my partner and then we transfer him to hia cot which he stays in for 45mins then wakes and wont stop winging untill we put him in our bed, then he wakes whinging every 45 mins all night, he has his two bottom teeth so i dont think its teething which was my original thought as to why he was doing it because he used to sleep 8 hrs, is he too young for cc/ sleep training or should i just leave it and it will get better as he gets older? Any advice plz! Thanks Confused x

He’s not a bad sleeper, he’s a baby. I know it’s hard. Mine woke almost every 45 minutes for the first year of her life (at least from 4-12 months) and now at 13 months she wakes once, MAYBE twice in the night. It’s really hard but it’s just what babies do. I totally empathise with what you’re going through I really do but they’re only little for a small time and it’ll pass x
