When did your LO move up to the sleepyhead grand?

I ask because my son is 4.5mo and his shoulders look squished - he sleeps with his arms up and on the sides of the sleepyhead. We have the grand ready but would need to put this is his cot (and move it into our room).

Says 8months but i find that hard to believe. The bottom clip has been undone on the deluxe for about a month already.

Have you considered not using? I’ve just moved my DD out of the first one at 6.5 months and she’s transitioned to cot well.

Hmm i could try but i already brought the thing and i cant return it 😒. Maybe i could take it out of the next to me cot as that will create more room.

Our LO sleeps like this, arms up. I worried about his shoulders looking squashed but he slept so well. We've just ordered a grand at 7 months, mainly because he's outgrown it lengthways.

We'd transition him to a cot but we've tried without the sleepyhead before and he doesn't sleep so well and prefers being snug.

My DD is 3.5 months and too tall for hers! Her head and feet touch each end so her days in it are numbered. Can't imagine they ever last for 8 months as advertised!

We had to swap our DS over at 12 weeks, but he is a baby giant (99.6th centile). Even so, the Grand is huge and he wasn't as 'snuggled' by it. Only now at 6 months that he's filled out a bit does it seem cosy again, and he seems a bit happier going in it. Might just be a coincidence though.

Why don’t you put the grand on the floor in your room
