13 month old sleep question - what do you think?

Hi all

My 13 month old still currently has 2 naps a day around 9am and 1.30-2pm as she is an early riser - up at 5-5.30am most days.

The early wakings are taking its toll so I'm considering tweaking our routine to get her up at around 6ish which we would consider civilised, in readiness for going down to 1 nap.

At the moment I usually wake her at 3pm from her afternoon nap to ensure she goes down at 7pm, atm she def needs 4 hours between sleeps otherwise we have a battle on our hands.

Just wondering if anyone else wakes their child around 3pm to facilitate bedtime, or whether I should be leaving her to sleep longer in the afternoon and pushing bedtime later till 7.30pm ish?

Our day goes like this atm, she's eating well & will BF 4 times a day upon waking & after sleeps.

Wake - 5-5.30am - milk upon waking
Breakfast - 7am
Sleep - 9am - 10am
Lunch- 12pm
Sleep - 2pm-3pm
Dinner - 5pm
Bath - 6.30pm
Bed - 7pm

A total of 12 hours in 24 asleep on average I reckon, 10 hours at night and 2 in the day. Is that enough? She's walking & v active.

Interested to hear your thoughts! Thank you.

I'll just share what my 14 month old does. She used to be a terrible sleeping but she has got better. Selfishly I moved her naps from 2 a day down to 1 a day as I wanted both of them to sleep at the same time or her sleep while the older was at preschool.

8am - wake up and milk
Breakfast - as soon as I get my shit together and make it

About 11:30 - lunch and then straight down for nap with milkaround 12-12:30

Sometimes she sleeps for an hour and a half, sometimes nearly 3 hours.

And then after nap snack when she wakes and more milk usually

Dinner at 5:30-6

Bed and asleep by 7/7:30 most nights.

It works a lot better for me and she definitely sleeps longer In the mornings if she's had a rough night or a short nap the previous day. And she doesn't get grizzly in the afternoons now.

My 14 month old has 1 nap a day. He started resisting his pm nap at around 12 months so that was the sign he was ready. Sleeps at noon ish for around 2 hours then is always ready for bed by 7 and sleeps a good 12 hours if not more. Those 2 naps could be causing early wakings

My DS is nearly 15mo and used to sleep 7-6:30 with a wake up for his dummy but teething has started again with vengeance and we have 5 teeth cut in the last weeks So now it’s 7-5 with a few wake ups.
If he wakes at 5, I don’t get him out of bed till 6. I just treat it as a night time sleep. Each day is getting later and this morning he woke at 6. Of course could be completely coincidental.

His day goes like this-
6am bottle 6oz
8am breakfast
10:30am light snack some times
11:30-12am lunch
12-12:30pm nap for 2.5 hours usually
5pm dinner
2-3 light snack sometimes
6:30 bottle 9oz
7pm asleep

I’ve been starting bed routine half hour early to make sure he is asleep by 7 as he definitely sleeps better if he goes down earlier
