Ebf 3 month old waking 2-3 hourly

My almost 16 week old had previously been managing 2-3 night time feeds. She goes to bed at 7.30 having had a long feed. She used to then waken 1.30 , 3 or 4 am then 6 or 7 am. I was having with this.
However since turning 3 months she now wakes every 2-3 hours for feeds inc 10pm. So she isn't sleeping for a 5 hour stretch at night.
Her day time sleeping is generally good -I don't think she sleeps for more than 3 hours during the day.
At night she takes a very quick feed say 10 -15 mins and goes back to sleep no problem.
She won't take a dummy and has stopped taking bottles so I can't give her a bottle at bedtime which may help her last longer.
Surely this can't be a growth spurt as it's lasted a few weeks.
Any tips please? I'm also still trying to get her to take a bottle with no success despite her having taken it until 1 month ago. Thanks

That's baby life, I think. Lucky she just feeds and goes back to sleep so quickly.
Re bottle, keep trying daily and cheerfully; it's a useful skill.

I should add she can self settle. She cries a bit at bedtime and goes to sleep fine.
However I think she is just hungry and wants a little snack.
I've tried to let her cry for up to 15 mins but she seems desperate for the boob and that's the only thing which works. Last night in desperation I tried to get her to take both sides but she didn't last any longer. It obviously takes longer, then I'm more awake and find it harder to get back to sleep

She’s tiny. I don’t think babies settle into any kind of routine until much later. They’re not really meant to sleep for long stretches of time. Just when you think you’ve cracked it they change again. My ebf baby did start sleeping like a dream at about 7 months old and has barely ever waken in the night since then, so the sleepless nights at the start were well worth it. I do feel for people that have toddlers that don’t sleep but I think you need to accept that in the early months you won’t be getting a full night for a long time.

I use to change baby's nappy during night feeds to wake them up to take more milk, this helped them to take more milk and sleep for longer

No advice but just wanted to let you know you’re not alone! My 3 month old DS used to do beautiful 5-6 hour stretches at night but in the last week has started waking 2 hourly again. He’s ebf too but doesn’t always seem to want a feed. Sometimes wakes at 2am and just won’t go back to sleep til 4 😩 he just lays in his next2me chatting and babbling away to himself!
DH and I think it could be the 3/4 month sleep regression kicking in though.. maybe it’s the same for your DD?

It’s hard but normal, please don’t leave her to cry. Baby sleep goes up and down for the first year or two

Thanks everyone-I suppose I'm comparing her to my eldest DD who is now 4 but was a better sleeper at her age

I , too, think that this is entirely normal and that it will send you mad trying to fight it. Each child is different and so although you are doing the same as you did with your first child this little girl has different requirements at different times.she'll get there, best of luck
