Hi

Wot sort of day time napping should a 15 week old have and how long is rough awake time? Mine is fighting naps and I’m exhausted!

My 16 week old does 1hr 30 mins between sleeps. If she goes to 2hrs she starts getting overtired! She fights sleep sometimes but I tend to either feed her to sleep or put her in sling! The more she resists the sleep, the more tired she is, if that makes sense!

Mine goes hysterical every nap time
I don’t know wot to do! So do u start nap time 1.15 after she’s been awake so by 1.30 she’s fast asleep?

Normally start around hour and half and asleep within about 10 mins but this is taking her in quiet dark room and feeding lay down or some vigorous bouncing in sling! 9/10 she will also make a fuss but settles after a short while. I found that if I feel stressed she gets worse so I kinda just try and relax and sing to her. Its really tough at this age getting them to sleep, well all through babyhood. I can't leave my DD2 for more than 20mins, including at night, without her waking so she co sleeps with me! I never really cracked naps with my DD1 but I remember it did get easier as they got older! Smile
