Co sleeper cot that's suitable for 1 year+?

I'd love to get a co sleeper cot for my next DC.
From what I can see, the only options only last a few months! (Up to 9kg, which is about 5 months)
I'd like a co sleeper cot that turns into a normal cot, that will last until DC needs their own toddler bed.
Is there such a thing?!

I think for that you just need an ordinary cot with the side removed?

Yes we've just done this for our 18week old, took the drop side of his cot and secured it beside my side of the bed. If you Google "sidecar crib" there are loads of ideas
