Daytime sleeping

My 8week old is a great sleeper at night. At 8pm something just changes and she is happy to be put down and go to bed, usually sleeps til 4am and back down til 8ish after feeding. However daytime naps totally different story. Will not sleep unless on me or out and about, either in car or going for a walk in pram. Any tips how to get to settle in the day. The cuddles are cute but i cannot get anything done

It’s totally normal, night sleep is different from day sleep as the pressure to sleep during the day is lower. Most babies so young need extra comfort/help to sleep during the day. My DS was exactly the same untill about 15 weeks ish. It’s the best excuse to rest on the couch with munchies and TV GrinCake

I also meant to ask, have you got a sling?

I have bought one last week, yet to try it out. Im not that bothered tbh, especially now the night times are getting easier i dont have to fight to stay awake during cuddles. Got people in my ear saying change it before its too late. But like you say im enjoying the chill time and cuddles really😀

If your happy with the way things are then just go with it, especially if the only reason you are looking to change is because of what others as saying. Ignore it, do what rights for you. If you want to change it later you’ll be able to work on it then x
