Sorry if this has been done to death!

My 5 1/2 month old wakes multiple times in the night and still has one or two bottles during the night.
However some of those wakings are just for a cuddle which whilst lovly is painful!

So I've got 2 plans...1. Cry it out...i know she is safe and not hungry

Or 2. Get a Myhummy which everyone says is amazing but then I don't want her reliant on a sleep aid.....what about when it runs out of batteries and I don't have any......or when she is 15 and a bit old for or lol also they are not cheap however you can't put a price on sleep!

The problem with cry it out is I have a 6 year old fast asleep next door luckily she is a great alwwpwe and baby doesn't wake her but I'm sure prolonged crying would.

So what would you do??

5 1/2 months is quite young for cry it out, especially if she is still having feeds in the night. I would look at gentler sleep solutions first if you can. I have no experience of My Hummy. I always wished you could borrow one first to see if it helps! Might be worth thinking does your baby settle with those strategies (white noise etc)? If she is hungry it won't be enough. If she wants holding, maybe it will work instead.

Yes borrowing a Myhummy would be perfect! I might ask on FB.

Whatever else you do, don't do cry it out. At any age-but especially when she's still so tiny.
