8 month old keeps waking up in crawling position!

My LO has recently learnt to crawl and since he's really been crawling around he's been waking up randomly in his cot and automatically getting up onto his hands and knees but he's still asleep! He cries out so I just gently lay him back down again and he's asleep straight away.
What's that all about?!

He's practicing! Try and capture it on video and treasure the memory of it once he's bigger. It won't be long before he rolls himself back over if he wakes himself up doing it.
