Has anyone else had experience like this?
He sleeps probably 20 hours a day (on and off of course). I have been told he is just a placid baby. He has a feed, a quick look round and its obvious he is tired again so back to bed he goes!

Just so you know I didn't have it too easy
My dd was a terrible sleeper!!

DD is 6 months but slept all the time until about 3 months. People wondered if she was real! When I met up with other people with babies the same age they'd all be crying and puking and feeding and she'd just sleep!
She's always been alert enough when she is awake but it just wasn't very often and she just just has a couple of naps in the day now.
Enjoy the peace while you can

gosh chocolatepig, I could be reading about myself there my ds was born nearly seven weeks ago and he probably sleeps for between 16 - 20 hours a day (slightly different from day to day), my dd was not a great sleeper and she fed and then puked up all the time so I too have not had it too easy either.

my baby was like this. She was 1 month premature and slept probably 22 hours a day for the first 10 weeks.

She is now six months old and currently crying in her bedroom and refusing to go to sleep! She generally is quite placid though.
