9 month sleep regression - discuss

Hey all

Is the 9 month sleep regression a myth ?

My sons sleep pattern has become disrupted of late and I've read that there is an 8-10 month regression period

Has anyone experienced it ?

He is also teething again so obviously that could be linked as well to it.

But just wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone has experienced it and if there are any gems of tips to help

His bedtime routine is the same and his day naps also and feeding schedule is also the same

Cheers all

My DD is nearly 9 months and her sleep has been pretty awful since 8 months. Before that she was either waking once or sometimes sleeping through so I’m really hoping this is a regression and will pass.

My 8 month olds sleep has definitely changed in last week. He’s fighting naps, won’t self settle. Waking up screaming in the night.

There’s a lot going on for them, poor things. Teething, leaps, illnesses going round and separating anxiety.

Actually my ds slept through starting at 9 months after being a pita!!

I agree loads going on for them

It's just really difficult as my normal calming and settling techniques don't seem to be working on him now.

Need new tactics me thinks or just role with it till it passes
