My DS is 8 months as for the past week or so his naps have gone to pot. He’s having little cap naps (he used to have 3 naps up to 2 hours long). He is also fighting them. Yesterday was up from half midday till bedtime. Put him to bed early though. Today he skipped his midday nap but was knackered!!
It’s messing with our days. I make plans around his naps normally and now he’s fighting them, I don’t know whether to just stay in or go out which leads to him being awake a long time.
He’s moved into his own room he other day and I’m making him take his naps in his cot. He used to nap on our big bed. Not sure if this is the problem - I just feel napping on our big bed isn’t safe for him anymore.
Any tips? On getting him get used to cot or is this behaviour associated with a leap or something. He seems knackered all the time. So don’t think it’s him ready to drop a nap to two a day.
