Hi, Just looking for some reassurance from those of you who have done this before...
6 month old daughter has fallen into a routine of settling for the night about 10.30/11 (sometimes self settles, sometimes goes down asleep) and sleeps through till 8am. She has breakfast (weetabix and 4oz milk) and then more often than not goes back to sleep till about 10.
She cat naps during the day and usually sleeps for,at the most, 2 hours in total between 10am and 10/11pm.
Bottles at approx 12 noon, 4pm and 9.30pm, and dinner at 6pm.
All sounds good, and she's slept through at night from about 2 months, but I'm now wondering how we get her into a routine of going to bed at 'normal' baby time of 7.30/8pm, without having to do a dream feed/feed her at 2 in the morning when she wakes up realising she's missed a bottle!
She's perfectly happy when she's awake in the evening, but as she's getting more alert she's looking to be entertained and it's making for a very long day!
HV and friends have suggested she'll be looking for last bottle earlier, and will be tired earlier, as she gets more mobile and uses up more energy.
Sorry, this has turned into a bit of an essay but I suppose I'm just looking for some reassurance that we'll maybe get out evenings back before she's a teenager hiding out in her room!
