can't get 2 year old in her big bed

she was 2 in October and she has a single bed in her sisters room. Currently shes still in her cot at the side of my bed. I tried her in her bed but shes not ready and she started to cry after the 10th time running out of the room. Any tips? should i just take the side off the cot if i can and just leave her there? tbh I'm not too bothered about her staying there as I'm a single mother anyway and they both sleep all night. She wakes about 6am and comes into my bed until 6.45 when her sister gets up then we all get up together. Would it do her any harm keeping her there? as in would it be really difficult in the future to get her out of my room?

Could you move the cot into her new room? Although if everyone is happy with current sleeping arrangements then leave them as they are. She wont still be in the cot at 16!

Keep her in the cot :)
Kids can sleep in them until much older than your dd

No harm she's still really young :-) you could take the side off the cot in your room though when you think she's ready, so she gets used to that first, then the big bed might not seem so daunting. And maybe when the time is right move the cot into her sisters room so that part is still the same? But I wouldn't worry about any rush for it just yet if the arrangement works!

My DD was 2 in August and is still in her cot, but in her own room. We got her a bed and that's in the room too but it is currently used as a sofa for reading stories on because she has no interest in going into it! She too has got really upset when we've tried her in it.

It's a bit inconvenient for us because we have another baby who is now in a portacot! Think we're going to end up buying a second cot!!
