Screaming in sleep (11 months)

Occasionally, within an hour or so of going to sleep for the night, the baby will start screaming while asleep. From trial and error, I found out that I need to keep my reaction low key or risk waking her up all the way. She goes into a very deep sleep once it is over.

I don't think it's night terrors. I think it's more like sleep talking just less cute!

What should I do? My instinct is to rub her back but I'm not sure she's even aware I'm there while it's going on.

If baby doesnt need you, then just let it pass and she can resettle herself. If she can't I would just place my hand on baby's chest or back, put dummy in and wait for it to pass. Certainly don't pick her up or make a lot if noise.
