moving 10month old in own room - tips needed

I'll be putting my LO in own room from next week - any tips here on how to transition greatly appreciated!

Assuming baby is sleeping through and used to sleeping in the cot in your room, I've never had much of an issue.

We just moved the cot to the new room, used that room for getting dressed and playing in the week in so run up. Then just followed the nigmal bedtime routine, just in the new bedroom.

As an aside, I introduced a comforter toy when moving to own room around this age.
