he's nearly eight months old. i breastfeed to sleep but it's becoming longer and longer to settle him. he wriggles and rolls over and crawls off. i KNPW hes tired as his naps are the bare minimum to keep him functioning: he's just so busy and doesn't seem able to slow down??

It's a stage they go through. His little brain is working so hard learning so many new things and it's really hard for them to switch off.
Everything is interesting.
It does calm down eventually

My 11 month old boy is the same. He really struggles to switch off. Feeding to sleep is no longer the reliable sleep inducer it once was! He’s cruising atm and it’s really affecting his sleep.

We're the same here. 9 month old goes into a light sleep and starts to crawl- which obviously wakes her and she remembers she can stand and cruise. Her sleep has never been great- but this is something else!

As with everything... this too shall pass!

My 6yo is still like this... Just saying!

thanks everyone. he's perfectly timed his first ever bug to begin xmas eve, span xmas and boxing day, waking up this morning all shiny and new. so he's been pretty good at sleeping!! let's see what he's got in store for me next. another infuriating phase i'll soon forget then when he's onto the next! Confused
