Looking for some advice for my dd who is 10.5months old.
She is currently taking 2 naps a day, and has been doing this since she was 6 months. The problem we are having is that the morning nap is happening later and later in the day, as is the afternoon nap, meaning she isn't tired at a reasonable bedtime. This week her morning nap didn't end until 11:50am. I am having to set an alarm for 630 so that I can get her up and having a morning nap at a reasonable time, been even that isn't happening until 930 which with her awake times still isn't ideal, and would preferably be at 9.
I am wondering under these circumstances if dropping to 1 nap is the solution, although I'm nervous as she never does particularly long naps, between 45mins-1hr30.
Has anyone's little ones been in the same situation. Need to start working on a solution fairly soon as I am 6 months pregnant so late bedtimes for DD just isn't going to work in the long term.
