6mo awake during the night

Not sure what to do about it - hoping it's a phase!!

DD2 is almost 6 months, she used to be a good sleeper, getting up once or twice for a quick feed, but over the last couple months she's up 3-4 times and more often than not one of the wake ups is 90-120mins (her awake time during the day)

She's happy, smiling, babbling etc but she is extremely noisy and often wakes DD1 up (who is already a rubbish sleeper at best of times!!). DH will take her downstairs and sit with her until she's sleepy again and then rock her to sleep and bring her back to bed.

She's ebf and normally she would just take a 5-10min sleep then go back to sleep.

Is this a phase or should we be more pro active during the night with her??

I would try working on getting her to go to sleep in the cot (rather than being fed or tucked to sleep). It's not a good idea to get her up properly and take her downstairs.

tucked=rocked
