Teething and self settling

Having done sleep training over Easter to help DS3 to self settle, he is now teething and it's gone a bit pear shaped!

What do other people do? Do you still try and help them go to sleep on their own, or feed to sleep?

So far I have made some allowances and stayed at his cot to comfort him, but I don't want to go back to square one and feed to sleep.

What allowances do you make?

Wev got a similar problem now as DS has a cold. We only did cc 2 weeks ago.

What weve been doing is leaving to self settle as long as its only whinging and not really crying. If he does cry then we offer milk/water and then put back down for him to whinge a bit more. So far its not been too bad and hes still settled within 5 mins. I have been giving calopl though.

It's a pain isn't it. I hope he's feeling better now.
